Will Searcher guide

Find funeral plan details for a loved one

If someone registered their funeral plan information or uploaded a copy of their plan to Will Searcher, an eligible search may help you find the details they chose to leave for their family.

How to look for a registered funeral plan

  1. Open the Will Searcher search and enter the person's name, date of birth, and their registered email address or phone number.
  2. Review the price shown at checkout before paying. Each search is charged whether or not a match is found.
  3. Verify your email address. Some registrants also restrict access to specific email addresses.
  4. If a match is found and the registrant chose to share it with you, review any available solicitor details and download the funeral plan document.

If no funeral plan details are listed

A missing result does not establish whether someone has a funeral plan. Consider checking their personal paperwork, contacting their solicitor or executor, reviewing relevant bank or insurance records where you are authorised to do so, or contacting a provider you already know they used.

Leave funeral plan information for your family

People registering with Will Searcher can choose to record solicitor details and upload documents such as a Will, funeral plan, or life insurance policy. They control whether searches can show solicitor details, documents, or both, and may limit access to selected email addresses.
